Metro Area Ambulance Service
Metro-Area Ambulance Service, Inc. is a private, locally owned ambulance service founded in April of 1983 to provide reliable emergency medical services to the cities of Bismarck, Mandan, and the surrounding communities. From the beginning, our purpose has been simple: deliver fast, skillful, and compassionate care when our neighbors need it most.
Over the years, our organization has grown into a fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service, providing 9-1-1 emergency response, interfacility transports, and long-distance medical transfers. Our team of dedicated Paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and support staff work around the clock to ensure expert medical care is always just minutes away.

History
From the Beginning Metro Area Ambulance Service’s mission has been a higher quality patient care focus as we continue that today and for the future. Metro Area Ambulance was formed when the basic life support Bismarck Ambulance combined with the basic life support Mandan Ambulance collaborated to make the Advance Life Support Metro Area Ambulance Service. We have been providing high quality patient care since 1983 in our community and surrounding counties.
